TENCEL® fibre is 100% natural. It is the softest nanofiber, with the highest moisture absorption rate on the market. Tencel is extremely breathable and absorbs 100% moisture in just 20 seconds (in comparison – cotton and polyester only absorb 16 %-19% of moisture in 3 minutes). Additionally, Tencel has superior moisture-wicking properties as it contains hydrophilic (water-loving) fibres. Its moisture-wicking property serves two purposes: first is to quickly move (or wick) sweat to the fabric’s outer surface, and the second is to dry rapidly so that your sweat doesn’t saturate the fabric. That’s why Tencel can keep you cool and dry when it’s hot and warm when it’s cold.

It’s hypoallergenic

Tencel is naturally hypoallergenic. It has exceptional resistance against moisture-causing bacteria and accumulation of mould, fungus, mites, allergens and dust – all of which can cause acne, blemishes, irritated skin, clogged pores and allergic reactions. It’s soft and smooth

Our Tencel has an unusually high thread count of 600 – making the fabric remarkably soft, smooth and supple. This silky smoothness helps reduce friction on skin and hair and could even help with reducing long-term signs of ageing. A study revealed that your skin continuously gets pulled by a fabric overnight, a smooth material like Tencel makes skin slide over the fabric instead of tugging it, creating less drag and promoting fewer wrinkles around the eyes and mouth.
It reduces friction

In addition, if you have sensitive or acne-prone skin you should be aware that a rough surface can cause friction (especially when moving while sleeping) which in effect can worsen skin inflammation and exacerbate your condition. A study confirmed that ‘80% of the patients suffering from atopic dermatitis or psoriasis preferred TENCEL® products over their normally used textiles.’
It has non-static finish

The smoothness of Tencel also reduces friction to your hair as your hair can glide over it whenever you move. Tencel also has a non-static finish, thus, sleeping on Tencel bed linen can help prevent frizzy hair, lessen breakage, reduce hair pulling, decrease split ends and promote healthy hair.

Dust mites love warm, humid climates. Mites cannot spread because of the efficient moisture management of our Tencel fibre. Test results demonstrated that mite populations with TENCEL Lyocell almost entirely disappear within 6 weeks. Thanks to the rapid transport of moisture, there is also no basis for bacteria or unpleasant odours.

As everyone’s body is different some people may experience results within 3 days; for some, it may take a bit longer. Optimally, a period of 8 weeks should be enough to see the best results. We strongly recommend taking the supplements for at least 4 weeks before making any assessment of the results.
